My Cool School Supplies came into existence based on the simple premise that everyone would like to have more time and money. Add to the mix a way to fundraise for your kid’s school and you have an unbeatable combination.

Jennifer Mallory is the busy mother of seventh grade twins, a businesswoman, and outdoor enthusiast who loves backpacking and entomology. Prior to the start of the school year in 2006, she found herself running all over town searching for the required school supplies at the best prices. After several hectic days of driving from store to store, a very cool concept came to her. Instead of having hundreds of crazed parents searching all of the local office supply stores for the best deals, why not bring the school supplies to the parents at one location, during registration, and make some money for the local PTA at the same time? With the support of her husband and business partner, this innovative concept has become a reality with the goal of helping as many families and schools as possible.

At My Cool School Supplies, we work directly with school PTA’s to set up a fundraising event prior to the start of the school year, typically during the student registration process. In the school gymnasium or other large space, all the required school supplies for each grade are available for purchase. In this way, parents can bring their children to registration and buy all the supplies necessary – a one stop shop. And to make things even better, the school keeps a percentage of the sales to kick off their fundraising campaign for the year. The parents support their school while getting their children top quality, name brand supplies at the most competitive prices. What could be better?
